Hi, can someone assist me to solve an issue with a wireless surround system? The issue that I have is that often my audio receiver is sending out a hum when it's switched off which in turn causes the transmitter which I employ for my wireless loudspeakers to be awake. Thus my rear speakers will continue sending out this particular humming noise when I am not watching television. I don't know whether there are any good solutions for this specific dilemma. Possibly I am going to need to physically disconnect the receiver from power each and every time. Thanks for providing ideas.

Did you try to change the channel used for your loud speaker, and rear speakers.

I think it's interference, from an other wireless device.

It might be a good idea to give us the model of wireless sound system you have, and the config you use.

When you ear a humming noise when an ampli is powered, it's generated by the surge current and the charging all the capacitors.
