Selon c'que jai lu, ca prend vraiment une meilleure machine que ca. Et il parait que beaucoup d'éléments disparaissent quand on scroll...

hehe, im on a 3.06/9700pro rig.. I play in 1280x1024 with everything on high.. runs flawlessly at first unless I am changing zooms really fast.. After around 15k pop it starts getting slow at times.. I find myself right clicking around or using the mini map instead of scrolling for best performance.. If I go past the 2nd zoom it can get really nasty for a bit.. Just changing your zooms around is not a good idea, hell ive crashed twice from going from 1-4.. So far ive gotten up to 30k and it is fine at closest zoom as long as I am not moving around too much in insanely busy areas.. 2nd zoom is fine too but changing from 1st to 2nd causes some downtime.. When I go to 3rd+ zoom it can get really bad in dense areas.. I am curious as to what it is like after 100k.. Right now, it is playable as to not lower res/details but I am not sure if that will be the case once I lure more people into my ghetto city..

This game is a big disappointment. I am Simcity fan, and I can't believe Maxis fucked up the game at this point.
There is no new interesting feature added since Simcity 3000, and those dumbass decided to use a 3D graphic engine in order to render in realtime the environment, the buildings, the cars, the sims and the advisors head.
As you cannot freely zoom or rotate (only predefined view and zoom levels), the 3D engine is just there to cast shadows and to overload the main cpu. The game eats tons of memory, and you 'puter spends his time swapping.
On top of that, Maxis has probably implemented complex algorithmes in order to process the simulation part of the game, that finishes to kill your cpu.
According to screenshots, Simcity 4 looked to be a nice game that could run on low specs, but in fact, it is the game that run the worst on my computer.
