j'aimerai avoir tes impression pour ta X-FI Forte sous XP!
Auzentech X-Fi Forte 7.1 PCI Express sound card review (pas d'info sous XP):
http://www.elitebastards.com/index.php? ... &Itemid=27je dois avouer que la ASUS Xonar Essence STX me tentait, son coût, sa disponibilité et ceci me retiennent un peu considérant que je n'ai pas de tuner pour mes Z5500 et que je suis
et reste sous Win XP:
(If you use nice headphones AND optical out for speakers then get the essence for the amp. The D2X would be perfect if you were doing surround with all analog outs from the D2X.
Xonar can outpu 5.1 surround sound by encoding them into Dolby Digital or DTS Surround in real time. So you'll
need a decoder/receiver to decode them into 5.1 audio channels. For speakers, it would be like Logitech Z5500, for receivers, it would be like Onkyo or Denon receivers).
The STX would well and truly be overkill the Z-5500. If you're more of a gamer then I suggest you go with the Auzentech X-Fi range.
Also, if you've got anything but premium headphones – the STX will most likely bring out the flaws in them and make your music sound pretty bad which is again further compounded if you listen to poor quality (<192kbps) mp3s.
It would be a waste if you're just using STX with Z5500 speakers since to maintain 5.1 surround audio you would have to use optical or coax which bypasses the sound card anyway. You're better off with a cheaper sound card such as the Xonar DX with 5.1 analog output.
the cream of the crop is currently (well from what i remember):
auzentech x-fi forte (all rounder)
asus xonar essence (music)
asus xonar dx2 (all rounder)
asus xonar dx (bang for buck)
