Je viens de tomber sur cette information:
"the drive is encoded with a data key through the USB control board. unless you get the chip from the original board and swap it to the new donor board, you’ll never gain access to your data. You willbe able to recover many of the files from the drive using software like Wondershare, made specifically for WD drives, but it only pulls data from the drive, it doesn’t decrypt it of repair it; you will still need a decoder for many of the more complex files [program files - as opposed to those that are merely pictures, or graphics, etc.]."
Ça regarde mal si c'est le cas. Ce post m'a encore plus découragé:
